Circledale to library Lane
To prepare for a solo show at the Sachem Library in Holbrook, New York, I gathered weeds from the sidewalks and curbs along the perimeter of the library property. I brought them to the studio as models for these paintings, imagining personalities and environments that would suit them. The titles refer to locations and the street names around the library.
